When to be ready?

So it's true! We do ease up and relax the 2nd time around.

With C mine was also packed and ready very early(hubby still teases me) now im siting at 28 weeks and have not even bought anything for the bag let alone packed it. Best I get my butt into gear now!!

With J, my hospital bag was packed at 20 weeks and with K I slacked off and only packed my back at 21 weeks

Yup, I betta get the hospital bag ready but we are going for a c-sec so hopefully my LO wont give me any surprises!!

J's room was only ready the day before he arrived! Okay so he arrived 4 weeks earlier than expected so technically I was ready in time.

K's room was ready 2 months before she arrived and I had the maid cover everything with sheets so that it would stay clean. Damn I did a good job in that room!

I was also much better prepared for my first than my second!!!

But I agree with D, be ready from about 30 weeks or so. Just pack the hospital bag at least! You DON'T want to send hubby to the shops to buy you pads and pj's when you are already in labour!

Hmm, I don't think there is a set rule R, but personally, I would try to have everything pretty much organised by the time I reached about 30/32weeks. You don't want to be rushing around and stressing in the last couple of weeks. And if, God forbid, baby arrives even just a little early, I'm sure you want to be relaxed knowing that you are prepared either way.

I have done none of baby's stuff yet except put his cot up which has now been fil;led with everythinbg else but his stuff. By this time with C I had everything ready including hospital bags for hospital packed, this time I have the cot up and have bought clothes buit thats it, when should everything be ready for his arrival?
