I have a old cast iron flat bottom pot that my dad gave me (he kept the huge potjie pot - people used it to make soap in), and it is my absolute pride and joy. Pot roasts, potbrood, potjie, one pot wonders, everything!

Yay! I'm so excited now!! I have these days where I feel very motivated in the kitchen and just go ape! Might have something to do with watching the BBC Food channel every now and again??????

Stupid Question
Can I put the lid of my cast iron pot in the oven? It does say 'Ovenproof Cookwell' on the handle of the lid, but ja???????????? I'm wanting to make a pot roast type thing
